Abstract

Abstract The process of dehydrochlorination of chloropolyethylene in a closed volume was studied. The relation of the kinetic characteristics of the process to the parameters of the system was established. Equations are presented describing the process of accumulation of hydrogen chloride during the degradation of thin chloropolyethyleme films in the presence of a thermostabilizer (HCl acceptor) placed outside the polymer.
