Pomeron singularity in the inclusive processes

Abstract

Abstract It is shown that on the basis of two-reggeon approach, neglecting strong graphs and using three leading Regge singularities with Δ>0, Δ=0, and Δ<0, it is possible to have a unified description of the elastic and inclusive processes. The systematic application of the eikonal approximation to the inclusive processes at high energies leads to a self-consistent description of the main “soft” observables of the scattering. It is also shown, that the unitary corrections lead 1n 43 rise of the d6/dy at y=0, the shape of the inclusive spectra become parabolic and remain unchanged at asymptotically high energies, contrary to the plateau in the Double-Reggeon approximation. The fit of the experimental data exibits an excellent agreement of the model with the data.
