Summary The protection of natural and nature close territories is one of the most important presumptions for the the success in enviromental preservation. Natural ecosystems provide people with the broad spectrum of valuable functions and services. However, only the economical functions of nature are held in high regard for money unlike the ecological ones. This results in a lasting decrease in the number of natural territories. The mankind loses ecosystems that keep conditions for life. The aim of this master thesis is to evaluate the state and effectiveness of various types of reclamation with the help of phytocoenological pictures and selected functions and services of ecosystems. It is focused on the cession of chosen ecosystem functions of the Babín Dump and the Jermanovo pole Mullock Tip caused by the shale mining. The outcomes are compared to potential climax vegetation stadium at the Křivoklátsko Region to the south of the area of interest. The territory interfering to the allotment belongs to the zone III of the protected landscape area Křivoklátsko. This thesis brings the assessment of biodiversity vegetation and the comparison of ecosystem functions and services, concretely wildlife habitat provision (WHP), air-conditioner and small water cycle.
