Abstract

Abstract Two 180° electromagnetic isotope separators have been used mainly for stable isotope separations. The 90° separator was reconstructed into a low-energy ion implanter. The 255° separator was converted into an iron-core double-focusing low-energy spectrometer. Ion implantation experiments have been carried out with two of these separators.
