Abstract

Abstract We propose a method to extrapolate the low moments of the nonsinglet distribution u − d from the unphysical quark masses at which they are calculated in lattice QCD to their physical values. In addition, we use these results to investigate the extent to which the available moments determine the Bjorken x and quark mass dependence of the underlying distribution.
