The last three years of working together were most enjoyable and fruitful. I still remember my first experimental work at Beijing Inst. of Tech. in 1989 for pulsed corona experiment – to construct a grounding wire. Because I wanted to produce pulse corona with high-voltage pulses, there must be EMI noise from spark gap; then, I need to have a grounding wire inside the laboratory. Now I realize how poor my knowledge was. Fortunately, I could continue to work with EPS group at TU/e to explore our common interest in pulse power, corona plasma, and pollution control. For this, I am very much indebted to professor J.H. Blom. The present work has greatly benefited from his solid support and interest. I
