Abstract

Tizanidine is marketed under the trade name Zanaflex as a treatment for spasticity. As it has recently been relaunched in the UK and may be prescribed instead of baclofen, Physiotherapy commissioned this critique to inform physiotherapists of its potential contribution to their interventions. We hope to follow it in a future issue with a case report from a physiotherapist.
