Abstract

Abstract Novel chlorinated polyenones, neocarzilins A ( 1) and B ( 2) have been isolated from the mycelium of Streptomyces carzinostaticus var. F41 and their structures were determined on the basis of spectroscopic analysis. Neocarzilin A ( 1) showed potent antileukemic activity.
