Abstract

Abstract Heat transfer in magneto-hydrodynamic Couette flow as affected by wall electrical conductance is discussed. The flow is bounded by two moving walls with temperature linearly varying along their lengths. The exact solutions obtained indicate that an increase in the conductivity ratio at the lower wall leads to a sharp rise in the Nusselt numbers at the upper wall.
