Abstract

Tables are presented for the reduced matrix elements of eight two-electron operators that all possess ranks of 1 in both spin and orbital spaces. These eightoperators are required when the spin-other-orbit interaction is decomposed into its group-theoretical parts. However, in presenting the tables, it is intended that each of the eight parts should be parametrized separately, thereby allowing various species of configuration interaction to be included in the analysis. The range of the tables extends over all states of the configurations f 4 and f 5.
