Qualitative analysis consists of three concurrent flows ofactivity: (1) Data reduction, (2) Data display, (3) Conclusiondrawing/verification. The result of the research is there were found 119 specificlegal terms that are taken from source of data. The translator utilizes fivestrategies of translation: (a) naturalization, (b) descriptive equivalent, (c)through-translation, (d) one-to-one translation, and (e) shift or transposition intranslating the specific legal terms from English into Indonesian. Thesetranslation strategies were suggested by Newmark. For further research, first, thewriter suggests to next researchers to conduct research about legal terms in otherproblem. The next researchers can observe any other problems in legal terms, such as observe the legal term idioms that are usually found out on conventionsor legal documents. The researchers can also observe other problems, which aremore specific than the writer did. Of course, it will be very useful and exactlyalso helpful for the people or readers, especially for the translator of Englishlegal documents. Second, because of this research is just limited on HumanRights, so the writer suggests that for the next researcher can find the specificlegal terms on criminal and civil laws.
