Abstract

Abstract Transition probabilities are calculated for all the possible spontaneous electric-quadrupole rotation-vibration transitions of the ground electronic state of the molecular hydrogen ion H 2 + originating in vibrational levels up to v = 19 and rotational levels up to J = 20.
