Daniel Halbach is a GraduateAssistant. The census of agriculture is taken to obtain infor- mation on the agricultural sectors activity. This infor- mation can be useful in the evaluation of the problems and challenges faced in agriculture. The main purpose of this publication, is to present information from the 1982 Census of Agriculture in a practical form, and then make estimates on feed consumption and available stocks of feed grains for Minnesota. All information is listed by Minnesota Crop Reporting Districts (CRD). A State total of the nine CRD is also in- cluded. A listing of each county by CRD can be found in Appendix A. Four tables are presented for each area and are as follows: a) . Livestock and Poultry b). Crops Harvested c) . Estimated Feed Consumption d).
