Abstract

Abstract We have fabricated Bi 2Sr 2Ca n−1 Cu nO 2n+4 superconducting thin films by metalorganic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) using triphenyl bismuth and β-diketonates of Sr, Ca and Cu as source materials. Films were obtained by changing the source vessel temperatures. The films for n=3 showed the highest zero resistance temperature of 86K among the films of the Bi 2Sr 2Ca n−1 Cu nO 2n+4 (n=1, 2, 3 and 4).
