Abstract

Abstract ALTHOUGH the mathematical theory of optimum processes has been the subject of a number of researches, it is difficult to use it in practice, either because of the large amount of calculations involved or, when electronic computers are used, because of the large store necessary. For this reason it is necessary to have a method of solving problems of this class, which is easily realizable on computers and which can go into the library of standard programs for these machines after some processing.
