Abstract

Abstract Supplemental Executive Retirement Plans (SERPs) continue to grow in popularity. They offer flexibility, ease of administration, and low-cost funding. Yet most executives don't understand how SERPs work or why corporations are establishing them. The authors explain how the typical SERP is structured, how it operates, and how it can be financed and established.
