Abstract

In globalization era, language is one of the most important things for ourinteraction, especially English. English as a second language is useful for manypeople in Indonesia. English Language is a compulsory subject, in Senior HighSchool, Junior High School, and Elementary School, but nowadays, teachingEnglish has been introduced in kindergarten, as in Tunas JakasampurnaKindergarten Pondok Mitra Lestari. The topic of the paper is Teaching EnglishThrough Games to Kindergarten Students at Tunas Jakasampurna Pondok MitraLestari. The writer is interested in this research because teaching Englishthrough games is the methods that useful in teaching English for kindergartenstudents. The method of the research is mostly by games, using picture or card,and colored stuff. The writer wants to describe Teaching English throughGames for kindergarten in Tunas Jakasampurna, besides that the writer wants toexplain the problems and solutions in Teaching English Language in TunasJakasampurna Pondok Mitra Lestari. The data of the research are collectedfrom information of interview and also library research.
