Abstract

Abstract Median mandibular cysts are rare lesions of disputed origin. Clinical and radiographic appearances are characteristic and similar to globulomaxillary and other fissural cysts. Adjacent teeth may or may not be involved. This case was of additional interest because the epithelial lining was of a respiratory type not usually found in mandibular lesions.
