Abstract

Abstract 3,3-Dialkyl-2-diphenylphosphinoyloxaziridines, prepared by the oxidation of N-diphenylphosphinoyl imines with the 3-chloroperoxybenzoic acid-KF complex, have very low barriers to inversion at nitrogen (Δ ‡ 12.6–13.3 kcal mol −1).
