Abstract

Abstract We are presenting there the main developments in a large research program, which is aimed at improving the performance of machine tools, with varied features, using the large potential of digital techniques. With simulation models and specific equipement, the following domains have been treated successfully: –Position digital control servosystems. –Control design with new algorithms of trajectory generation and interpolation (B - Spline) This paper describes schedule of conditions and the architecture of the C.N.C able to integrate these improvements and future developments. A prototype has been designed with an industrial computer (OEM)
