Abstract

Record level- A collection of reports and census information about Native Americans including: United States Indian Service Pamphlet III, tables on hospitals, schools, population, and school census; an investigation to determine whether the changed status of the Indian requires a revision of the laws and regulations affecting the American Indian as proposed by the select committee to investigate Indian Affairs and conditions in the United States; United States government policy towards American Indians, a few basic facts; Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census, minor races by States; and census reports of 1950 of Arizona and California.
