Abstract

Abstract Cross sections for the photoionization of H 2(X 1 Σ g +) , initially in vibrational levels v i = 0–14, with the production of H 2 +(X 2 Σ g +) in vibrational levels v f = 0–18 are tabulated for the full vibrational array at 24 photon wavelengths ranging from 912 Å to 450 Å. The associated vibrational overlap integrals 〈 v i f v f 〉 and R-centroids, 〈v i|R n|v f〉 〈v i|v f〉 , n = 1 and 2 are also presented together with accurate curve fits of the bound-free ( H 2-H 2 + + e ) electronic matrix elements.
