Abstract

Abstract We describe the electrochemical behaviour of poly(3-methylselenophene) in acetonitrile. The level of doping δ is determined by chronocoulometric measurement. Cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry and chronocoulometry are used to study the response time and the stability of the polymer. Our results show that poly(3-methylselenophene) is very promising for possible applications.
