Abstract

Abstract A big luminescence fatigue was observed at 2 K after prolonged illumination for a−Si:H films prepared by glow-discharge decomposition of disilane at room temperature. ODMR experiments suggest that this fatigue effect is due to creation of dangling bonds by prolonged illumination. A new ODMR signal was observed at 2 K for those samples and its origin is discussed.
