Abstract

Highlights ► A quantum simulation model is used here to study the magnetic properties of a 3d nanomagnet. ► The self-consistent algorithm employed here is much faster than Monte-Carlo simulation. ► The calculated magnetic structures, hysteresis, etc., are reasonable physically. ► Two different magnetic transition temperatures for the M a and M c are found in simulation. ► The peaks in the magnetic specific heat curve appear away from the transition temperatures.
