In 1997 set up West Yorkshire Inspection & Consultancy Services with two other partners offering education inspection, advice and consultancy. Main areas of expertise are curriculum development, management and quality strategy, and issues related to inspection. The Governor Training Materials were launched by the Further Education Funding Council in Spring 2000 and sent to all college governors. The experienced trainers listed below have all successfully completed a programme on using the materials to facilitate training sessions with college governors. Colleges using a recognised trainer to deliver a training session with the materials will be entitled to claim financial support from the standards fund.
