Abstract

Abstract Steps in the specific heat below T c attributed to the melting of a vortex glass are investigated as a function of the field (B≤14T) and oxygen concentration (6.9≤x≤7) for an YBa 2Cu 3O x crystal grown by the Travelling Solvent Floating Zone Melting (TSFZM) technique. Critical points and scaling properties are discussed.
