Abstract

Abstract A study of the raman spectra of CO(NH 3) 6FeF 6 and related compounds indicates that inter-ionic coupling, most probably involving hydrogen bonding, is responsible for the anomalous intensity pattern found for the ν(CoN) and ν(FeF)-derived bands.
