Abstract

Abstract We show that the analysis of the experimental data from the transient grating technique applied in studies of forward and reverse photoelectron transfer have to take into account the time distribution of excitation and probe pulses. The respective equations for the donor, the radical pair and the transient grating signal are obtained for time-distributed excitation and probe pulses.
