Abstract

Abstract Low-energy (<20 eV) electron attachment to condensed CF 4 is associated with the desorption of F − ions via dissociative electron attachment and dipolar dissociation. The present results are compared with the corresponding processes in the gas phase and from CF 4 clusters.
