A Delphi study of the impact of communication technologies on the public school districts in the United States

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine when the public school districts in the United States are expected to establish concrete plans to make the transition from a total teacher controlled classroom environment to a learning situation enhanced by communication technologies. Four components of communication technologies were presented in this study: (1) Curriculum; (2) Information access; (3) Future employment; and, (4) Technological materials.
