Abstract

Abstract The 514.5 nm Ar + laser line and the 530.8 and 520.8 nm Kr + laser lines have been used to excite infrared fluorescence of the BaCl molecule. Spectra of transitions from the C 2Π excited state to both components Ω=3/2, 5/2 of the metastable A′ 2Δ electronic state were recorded by Fourier transform spectrometry. Molecular constants for this state have been determined and those of the C 2Π state are improved.
