Abstract: The purpose was to evaluate structural characteristics of pasture, behavioral aspects and physiological parameters of sheep finished on irrigated Tamani grass pasture under continuous stocking, using castor bean cake as alternative input. Structural characteristics of the pasture were assessed in a randomized block design in 2 x 2 factori...

This study details the synthesis of pure carbon nitride (CN) and composite polypyrrole through an in-situ polymerization method. The prepared samples were comprehensively characterized using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), and X-ray Diffraction (XRD). These analyses confirmed the...

Being an important source of berberine, Berberis chitria Buch.-Ham. ex Lindl. (Berberidaceae) has high demand in pharmaceutical industries. Its populations are diminishing due to overexploitation, habitat loss, slow-growing nature, and climate change. It is important to develop propagation protocols to sustain its natural populations and ensure its...
Publication status: Published / RNA is a key biochemical marker, yet its chemical instability and complex secondary structure hamper its integration into DNA nanotechnology-based sensing platforms. Relying on the denaturation of the native RNA structure using urea, we show that restructured DNA/RNA hybrids can readily be prepared at room temperatur...

Glycerol carbonate (GC) is one of the most attractive green chemicals involved in several applications such as polymer synthesis, e. g., the production of polyurethanes and polycarbonates. This relevant chemical can be produced, in a green way, using CO2 (from carbon capture) and glycerol (a byproduct from biodiesel manufacturing). Therefore, in th...

The synthesis of carbon dots nanomaterials based on butterfly pea (Cliptoria ternatea) with urea doped (N-CDs) has been successfully carried out using the hydrothermal method. The N-CDs material shows a dark brown solution which indicates that the carbon dots have been successfully synthesized. In this study, we analyzed the influence of optical pr...

To assess the efficacy and safety of urea in patients with hyponatremia and heart failure (HF). This is a retrospective observational analytical study of patients with HF and hyponatremia (Na+ 135mmol/L). The initial natremia at the start of oral urea treatment was 127±5.22 mmol/L, at 24h the sodium level was 128±2.47 (P<.009 and the mean on day of normalization was average number days to achieve sodium days. initial uremia at start urea treatment na oral dose no relevant adverse effects were observed nor there significant changes in creatinine levels. when added standard for short periods time is safe effective correcting natremia patients with hypervolemic hf hyponatremia. copyright elsevier espa s.l.u. all rights reserved.>
The hydration of CO2 suffers from kinetic inefficiencies that make its natural trapping impractically sluggish. However, CO2-fixing carbonic anhydrases (CAs) remarkably accelerate its equilibration by 6 orders of magnitude and are, therefore, "ideal" catalysts. Notably, CA has been detected in ureolytic bacteria, suggesting its potential involvemen...
This archive contains output files from CASTEP Density Functional calculations, containing vibrational data (unscaled eigenfrequencies and normalised eigendisplacements) for various small molecules (carbon monoxide, ammonia, amine, hydrazine, urea, and formamide) in the gas phase and adsorbed on Cu{311}. The files are in human-readable plain text, ...
