Study of a rock mass by seismoacoustic methods in surveys for tunnel construction

The seismoacoustic method of transmitted waves (seismic sounding) is applied to study the tectonic structure of a rock mass between a tunnel and the Earth’s surface and to determine seismic characteristics of covering rocks suitable for tunnel site engineering.
