To investigate the seasonal variation of organophosphate esters (OPEs) in air particulate matter (PM) and the corresponding influence factors in indoor environment, 104 indoor PM samples were collected in a test home, Harbin, China, from March 2017 to March 2018. The Σ12OPEs concentrations ranged from 0.41 ng/m3 to 940 ng/m3. Tris(1-chloro-2-propyl...

Heavy metals and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are the important contaminants in used mineral oil (UMO) and likely pose environmental risks in the processes of disposal and regeneration. However, little information on the concentrations and associated with the risk of heavy metals and PAHs in various types of UMO from different industries...

Studies are carried out in two wet scrubbing systems (WSSs) subordinated to two similar full-scale (30 t h-1) municipal solid waste (MSW) incinerators to explore the influence factors and mass balance of memory effect on polychlorinated-ρ-dibenzodioxins and dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs) emissions. The results show that the memory effect on two WSSs notab...

Within oasis-desert ecotone regions, the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) is an important parameter for evaluating the growth of vegetation. An accurate quantitative study between NDVI and environmental and anthropogenic factors is critical for understand the driving factors of vegetation growth in oasis-desert ecotone. In 2016, four p...

Increasing concentrations of metals in soil have posed a serious threat to the soil environment. The control and evaluation of soil metal hazards demand the establishment of soil ecological criteria, which is mainly based on the obtainment of toxicity thresholds. As the most typical representative of soil-dwelling springtails, Folsomia candida perf...

Selenium (Se) is an essential trace element for humans and animals. In China, intensive agricultural inputs in greenhouse vegetable production (GVP) have resulted in great changes in Se concentration and bioavailability in soil, which have great influences on Se flux to living organisms through food chains. It is crucial to understand the factors o...
