This study is based on the lexical field of ludology that spreads in a palimpsest through the pages of Cara-de-Bronze conceived here as a ludopoetic metanarrative in which its decoding depends on skill strategy and luck The Rosian text will be covered in search of possible clues that link it to the spectrum of games in order to facilitate the creation of a ludic methodology that enables a fun and inventive reading of the work After a brief overview of the history of games especially chess the focus is on the relationship between this game and the language presented in famous plays in Brazilian literature concluding with Guimar es Rosa who is mentioned first in a general manner and then working specifically on the vocabulary of the novel based on the various alternative definitions offered by a dictionary Finally having asserted the humorous conception of the novel evidenced by the author himself through letters in which he revealed the ludic nature concealed in the construction of certain exemplary passages we conclude by assuring its reading is also ludic extracting from practice the immanent methodology that is based in such analytical experience O estudo fundamenta-se no campo lexical da ludologia o qual se dissemina em palimpsesto pelas p ginas de Cara-de-Bronze aqui concebido como uma metanarrativa ludopo tica cuja decifra o depende de habilidade estrat gia e sorte O texto rosiano ser percorrido em busca de eventuais pistas que permitam lig -lo cabalmente ao espectro dos jogos a fim de facultar a cria o de metodologia l dica que viabilize uma leitura divertida e inventiva da obra Ap s breve panorama da hist ria dos jogos mormente o xadrez foca-se na rela o deste com a linguagem em lances famosos da literatura brasileira at fechar em Guimar es Rosa de quem se fala tamb m primeiro em geral para depois trabalhar especificamente o vocabul rio da novela a partir das variadas defini es alternativas ofertadas por um dicion rio Por fim tendo asseverado a concep o jocosa da novela como testemunhado pelo pr prio autor em cartas nas quais revelou o ludismo ocultado na constru o de determinadas passagens exemplares conclui-se pelo assenso de sua leitura tamb m l dica extraindo da pr tica a metodologia imanente que ter embasado tal experi ncia anal tica
