Responsible for the design and development of the first course on Quality Assurance and Quality Control of Welded Joints (6 ECTS) in the Serbia, within the Welding and Welded Structures module, sponsored and supported by Messer Tehnogas AD, Serbia.
A specialist in the field of materials science and materials engineering, corrosion science and engineering; environmental damage mechanisms; hydrogen degradation of materials (hydrogen induced cracking, hydrogen embrittlement, high temperature hydrogen attack) and materials characterization.
Numerous (~120) studies, reviews, reports and expertise in the field of materials science and characterization ‐ testing and behaviour of power plant components after long‐term exposure to a aggressive (corrosion) and abrasive environment at high‐temperatures under static/cyclic loading.
• Case studies, failure analysis and root cause analysis of all critical components of fossil fuel power plant (boiler tubes, pressure vessels, pipelines, turbine...).
• Studies on boiler life and availability improvement, corrosion engineering and mitigation specification (thermal power plants water chemistry improvement and control), material testing & welding, maintenance program upgrade, remaining life assessment and reliability engineering.
Team member in 8 R&D Projects (1 International), funded by:
i) CEATI International Inc., Montreal, Canada,
ii) Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia and
iii) Electric Power Industry of Serbia (EPS).
