J. Adv. Med. Biomed. Res. is a bimonthly peer-reviewed medical journal published by Zanjan University of Medical Sciences. From 1992 to 2018, the journal was published as the Journal of Zanjan University of Medical Sciences and Health Services (pISSN:1606-9366 eISSN:2322-4231). It was indexed in SCOPUS in 2010. Since 2019 it has appeared as Journal of Advances in Medical and Biomedical Research (eISSN: 2676-6264) and its language has also changed to English.
When the journal first started its work, its aim was to become an international journal; an aim which somehow was achieved being indexed in SCOPUS. Now that this open-access journal is indexed and available for a lot of people around the world, we the board are to have the biggest audience possible and to have a significant impact on the scientific society.
The J Adv Med Biomed Res accepts original articles, short communications, review articles, case reports, and letters. The journal covers all areas of Medical and Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Molecular genetics, and Basic Applied Sciences.
