With a background in Experimental Pharmacology and Neuroscience, I have obtained my PhD at the University Mohammed V in Rabat, Morocco. Actually, I am highly interested in investigating the neuronal circuits involved in food intake and regulation. My objective is to construct a functional mapping of connectivities involved in eating behavior and competing needs. Moreover, my research objectives are extended to investigate the pathophysiology of human diseases in animal and cellular models, and looking to understand the effect of epigenetic modifiers on the neurochemical anatomy. The main objective is to identify potential pharmacological modulators and targets for treatment.
