My research interests are to develop nanostructured materials and microfluidic platforms as enabling technologies for facilitating the advancement of molecular diagnostics (imaging) and therapeutics, as well as in vitro molecular diagnostics. We envision that a systems-oriented integration of in vivo molecular diagnostics/therapeutics and in vitro molecular diagnostics represents an important paradigm shift for drug discovery and clinical patient management applications.
