Bourna was born in Plantation, FL and has been a Floridian his entire life. He obtained a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Florida State University and is currently enrolled for a Masters in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Miami. At the PMLab, Bourna is combining his strong understanding of mathematical principles with his research interest in regenerative medicine to help us better design the fluid flow within our physiomimetic microsystems.
