Once educated in chemistry and material science (Ingénieur Chimie ParisTech); I went through Imperial College London's SciComm Unit to become a science communicator and media producer.
I have since spent my time running and communicating about Waterloo Uncovered (a unique charity that combines archaeology with care and recovery for injured serving personnel and veterans - www.waterloouncovered.com). On evenings and weekends, I write about recent research for My Science Work.
Since 2016 began working at Waterloo Uncovered, in positions of increasing responsibility. In a small structure (permanent team of two), I am currently in charge of most of communications year round, as well as most of operations and linked administrative work. In July 2018, was in charge of the (successful, dare I say) delivery of an excavation on the battlefield of Waterloo, Belgium, that involved over 120 people over two weeks and continued the archaeology of the battle whilst bringing support to serving personnel and veterans from the UK, and Netherlands.
