Aidan is a clinician, researcher and academic based in Sydney. He is a resident medical officer at Liverpool Hospital with a passion for paediatrics. He is a PhD candidate with the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre at University of Sydney and his research interest is evidence-based medicine in children. His research aims to improve the reliability and reproducibility of research and the quality and transparency of clinical trials, systematic reviews and meta-analyses. He is a conjoint associate lecturer with the University of New South Wales and Western Sydney University, and his academic interest is suicide intervention. He previously served as a telephone crisis supporter for Lifeline and other suicide prevention services, and teaches suicide intervention in adolescents and young adults.
