Science & You is an international science communication event, coming in June 2015. More than just a conference, the organizers intend to feed real reflection on what is at stake, around the world, for connecting science with society; a comparative approach that helps us fully grasp a range of international approaches to science communication promises to be extremely useful. This video from the launch of Science & You gives a taste of the event to come, featuring an array of actors, citizens, disciplines, and themes. Even Mongolian diaphonic singing made an appearance!

Science & You is an international science communication event, coming next year, in June 2015. An initiative of the University of Lorraine, in France, the organizers intend to create more than a conference; as scientific committee member Bernard Schiele says, a comparative approach that helps us fully grasp a range of international approaches to science communication promises to be extremely useful.

The launch of the Science & You project offered a day of exchanges around the perception of science in society—different societies—that gave a taste of what’s to come. Researchers, students, communicators and other citizens, brought their views from Asia, Africa, Europe, America...including even the scientific applications of Mongolian diaphonic singing!
