International Open Access Week is a global event, now in its 6th year. Its goal is to increase awareness of the benefits of Open Access, and to share ideas to help Open Access become the automatic choice for scientific publication.

To learn more about why, see MyScienceWork’s collection of articles discussing open access: http://blog.mysciencework.com/en/type/openaccess

In 2012, MyScienceWork has taken on the role of organizing, for the first time in Paris, two evenings devoted to Open Access. In partnership with UNESCO and the University Pierre and Marie Curie, MyScienceWork invites you to come learn more about this important subject, discuss with international experts, and discover ways to open up your own, or your institution’s, research.

Check out the event teaser to learn more about this revolution in the system of scientific publishing and how you can get involved during Open Access Week.

If you like the video, share it, tweet it, spread the word to bring greater visibility to Open Access in France.
