Virginie Simon and Tristan Davaille created the start-up MyScienceWork on August 20, 2010 in Paris. « As we had nothing, or almost nothing, in terms of funds to begin the MyScienceWork adventure, we started by creating the Facebook page and bringing it to life day after day,” Virginie Simon remembers. The founders began to build a small community of science enthusiasts by sharing on the web the multidisciplinary articles they found worthy of interest. “It was only in April 2011, with the launch of the popular science site MyScienceNews, that we started communicating our own content.”
“Today, nearly three years after the creation of MyScienceWork and its Facebook page, we are delighted to have brought 100,000 people together. A big thank you to all!”
